There are 41 member refuges nationwide with the National Office including the fundraising entity are based in Wellington. Member refuges are regionally represented and meet 2-4 times a year at regional level. They also attend the national Annual General Meeting . The 8 governance board members are elected by their region and serve a 3 year term.
